My buddy Jeffrey is not a cacher. But he will sometimes help me hunt for caches. He also likes the outdoors ... hunting, fishing, camping and most recently, riding ATVs on the trails.
Jeffrey has told me of all the great places one could hide a cache while on the trails. But, alas, I have no vehicle capable of riding the trails.
Jeffrey just bought a second ATV, so we went riding and hid some caches.
Then we went out again and hid some more.
I had trouble with the terrain rating on these caches. Without a serious 4WD or dirt bike (spelled motorcycle), they would be quite a tough hike and would surely be an overnight affair. They might be doable by horse. A really good rider might even be able to do them on a mountain bike. A 4WD or dirt bike makes them almost park & grabs. Thus, they are 3.5. Let me know if I’m wrong.
(With the additional hides now on this trail, it should become somewhat more popular.)
This cache is at a rather interesting ... whatever it is ...
I could not resist hiding a cache that was totally out of place here. Elsewhere, it might be trick especially for novice cachers. Here, it is so out of place it is obvious.
