No Place Like Home Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Southerntrekker: Hi There

As the owner has not responded to either my log or my colleague's previous log requesting that they check this cache I am archiving it.

Please note that once the cache has been archived, this can not be undone. This is explained in the Help Center - http://support.groundspeak.com//index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70

You will need to create a new listing, put it back in for review and as long as it meets today's guidelines and no other caches have been published in the area causing a proximity problem, then it will be published.

Regards

Geocache Description:

A Magnetic nano cache(please bring a pencil) in our home village of Green Street Green

In the Domesday Survey in 1086 it was part of the Manor of Ciresfil (Chelsfield). The name came about because of the green where the old shire lane ends -then up the street - to the green and pond which is now the roundabout on the A21 near the Rose and Crown/Royal Oak

Green Street Green was a tiny hamlet at the beginning of the 1900 century and grew to a large semi surburban village at beginning of 21st century.

Archeological finds reveal that in warm times, deer, hippopotamus, rhinoceros and elephants roamed the valley and in colder times reindeer, woolly rhinoceros and mammoth.
