Comeau`s Hill: There are rocks and there are rocks. Roche Saint-Pierre is unusual and has a story of its own. Bonus: short scenic hike./Buttes-des-Comeau: Il y a des roches qui parlent plus que d`autres. La Roche Saint-Pierre a une histoire bien particulière. En plus: une courte randonné scénique.

Acadian Tour Series
The first French colonists arrived in Nova Scotia in 1604 and “Acadia” was the name given to the first permanent French colony. Many more colonists arrived during that century. Acadians trace their ancestry back to those early French colonists. In spite of the Deportation that happened in 1755 – when their homes were burned, their land was taken away and families were separated – many Acadians returned. They held fast to their culture, language, families and their faith.
The Acadian Shores Interpretive Tour is a self-guided itinerary of 29 Acadian heritage sites in southwestern Nova Scotia.
