Like them or not, Virtual caches are part of geocaching history, and their numbers are dwindling away. Whether that's a good thing or not is a matter of personal opinion and much debate. However, one thing that can't be argued is that there are 51 active Virtual caches in Kentucky, and that you have to find all of them to be able to log this one.
To meet the requirements to log this challenge cache, you must find all of the remaining 51 active virtual caches in the state of Kentucky. Only caches that are listed as virtuals meet this requirement. No earthcaches or webcams are required or count toward this challenge, either. If any of the virtual caches in Kentucky are archived, the number needed to log this cache will change accordingly.
The cache is at the listed coordinates, so once you meet the requirements, please feel free to come find it! I ask that you make a bookmark list noting that you've found all of the virtuals before logging this online. If you are unable to make a bookmark list, please write to me ahead of time. I've never deleted a find log on one of my caches, and don't find any pleasure in the thought of doing so.
Final cache is an ammo can down a fairly steep slope. While there are no virtuals nearby, the location is picturesque enough for one, overlooking the Kentucky River. The palisades on the opposite shore will be more visible in the winter months; there is a lot of tree cover here. If muddy or rainy, the terrain could go up 1/2 to 1-star. Take your time and come find the other caches hidden at this location if you haven't already.
Cache is placed at the Jim Beam Nature Preserve, which is managed by the Nature Conservancy, which has provided permission to place caches here.
Sun-moon-starz has logged this cache because she meets the requirements, but since she was with me for most of the virtual finds, she does not get to claim FTF.
