Geocache Description:

Two sentinel palms - choose left or right?
From the creek, both are in sight.

You can enter Red Bug Slough from Ashton Rd. and follow Cross Creek.

It's a fairly flat stroll by the waterside - a favorite of dog walkers.

---

This is my first cache EVER. When I got my approval from the county (and discovered my cache had easily survived several rain storms), I was so FREAKING THRILLED that I ran out of Red Bug Slough through the wet grass, heedless of any dog leavings (but charmed enough not to step in any). Because I'm a geek, I thought about Julie Andrews in "The Sound of Music." I wrote some spontaneous ridiculous-ness:

The woods are aliiiive
With the sound of caching...
With purposeless gems
That I have to fiiiind...

Adventures abound,
Crazy squirrel-like staaaashing...
The 10-year-old in me is so...satisfied.

(If you're creative, you'll add verses).
