CACHING HOURS 7am - 9PM

Camper Joe who likes to cache all over the country and has found geocache’s in 32 states, 3 countries and has over 6200 finds. Camper Joe drives a bus style rv with 22” diameter tires and pulls a small trailer with only 10” diameter tires. Camper Joe is worried about the trailer tires as they travel at more than twice the rpm’s as the bus tires. (22” diameter x 3.14 = 69.08” per revolution, the 10” tires travel 31.40” per revolution). Camper Joe likes to travel down the road at a speed of 68 mph. Camper Joe is thinking of changing the trailers tires to 14” or 15” diameter.
To find the cache you must solve the following:

A. If Camper Joe drives his bus down the highway at a speed of 80 mph and changes the trailer tires to 14” diameter tires how fast will the trailer be going?
B. If Camper Joe drives his bus down the highway at a speed of 77 mph and changes the trailer tires to 15” diameter tires and changes the bus tires to 18” diameter tires how fast will the trailer be going?
