Head west from Terrace on hwy 16 approx. 39 km. Just before you get to the Exstew trestle, turn right (north) onto a logging road. This is the road that goes to the Exstew forestry campground. The cache is about 10km from the hwy 16 turnoff.
We took a Suburu Forester all but 40 feet from the cache. The road is a typical logging road with a few rougher sections. Not great for low passenger cars, but fine for trucks or SUV's.
Be prepared for the awesome spectacle of nature when you arrive at the cache. Welcome to super natural british columbia! Please be mindful that bears frequent the area and children should not be left unsupervised.
The cache is a gallon ice-cream bucket covered in a white plastic bag.
