This is one of the last K4 Telephone Boxes.
The K4 was introduced in 1927 and incorperated the telephone kiosk with a post office. The K4 was monolithic and was dubbed the " vermillion giant" as it proved too large for many of the streets, Also much to the annoyance of the general public the stamp machines proved very noisy during a conversation and were not weather-proof. So only 50 were made.

The cache is accessible to all however the vertically challenged may need to stand on tip - toes and wheel chair users may need assistance
