With more local cachers getting kayaks, Eel Lake is becoming a popular area for more caches......Yak Mecca!
Just across the water from the boat ramp. If you are using a human-powered craft - mornings are better due to typical afternoon winds.
I love kayaking on this lake. Both arms have an abundance of coves to explore and you are likely to see all kinds of wildlife including bald eagles, osprey, heron, beaver and mink.
You must come ashore to find the container. The hint is best understood if you tie up at the more obvious point - one of the few places at the shore edge that isn't a wall of brush!
