If you are a plant lover then you will really enjoy this area. Burnt Cape was named as an Ecological Reserve in March 2000 due to the number of rare and endangered plants that grow here. There are over 300 different plant types and aprox 5 of these plants grow only on Burnt Cape and no were else in the world. Burnt Cape can be found by turning of route 430 and heading towards Raleigh. Once in Raleigh will find a well marked road with information signs that will explaine the Burnt Cape area as the plants that grow there. The cache is located in an area that is designated as a safe walk area. Don't let your GPS fool you as you may think you are rite on top of it. Look up as this area is a hard place to hide a cache. Please watch were you step.
