Best way to approach is Junction 12 West-Bound, taking the exit marked for Tal-y-Bont.
The A55 Expressway is the cause of many a woe for regular travellers across North Wales. On a good day, you can get from the Wirral to Bangor in just over an hour, but as is fairly often the case, there are Road Works!!! >.
Located on the flyover at Junction 12 near to Hendre Hall. There is a large lay-by at N53* 13.275 W004* 3.625 that is recommended for parking. Cars do come over the flyover quite quickly sometimes, so it may be dangerous to stop next to the cache.
Hendre Hall is a farmhouse with a difference. There are regular cultural events that take place here, from youth music concerts to local produce markets, and the latest in Electronic Sonic Art Composition Exhibitions. It has recently opened a small cafe, so you could pop in for refreshments if you wish (in which case, you can park in the Hendre Hall Car Park).
