While camping at Lake Fairfax Park, we were looking forward to finding a new cache. After some research, we determined that the cache we wanted to find was apparently bulldozed, so what do you do with 10 kids who were looking forward to geocaching and now need something to do? Hide your own. So we went for a hike in the woods, crossed the creek a few times (although, I don't think you have to) and found the horned dragon. We hope you can find it too.
The cache is a medium sized plastic container with a log book, pencil, and lots of small toys. Special thanks go out to all the geocachers who helped find a great spot and made the camping trip so much fun. Also, thanks to the Fairfax County Park Authority who gave us permission to hide this cache. While you're there, consider other fun activities they have to offer like camping, boating, riding the carousel, or splashing at the Water Mine.
