Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden on the Middle Ridge Road trail in Big Basin Redwoods State Park.

This sorry looking tree has been burnt and its upper portion is gone, but it is still kicking! When OctoberGirl and I saw it it reminded us of the "Black Knight" character from "Monty Python and the Holy Grail". Whether or not this rings a bell with you, I think you'll find this tree very interesting.

The cache is a 16 oz food jar, hidden under bark.
