Another
mid-week, evening event for idle "caching" chitchat.
When:
Wednesday 15th September 2010 at 8:00pm.
Where: The
Anchor Pub, Ferry Road, Hullbridge, Essex. SS5 6ND Tel:01702
230777.
The recently
refurbished Anchor is located on the banks of the river crouch
close to the village of Hullbridge and it's getting a good
reputation for fine food cooked by the Essex Chef of the Year,
Daniel Watkins, see their website www.theanchorhullbridge.co.uk for
further details. It also has several real ales on tap including
Adnams Broadside & Marston's Pedigree which should keep real
ale fans such as myself happy. I've booked fine weather for the
event so I'm hoping it will be warm enough to sit in the garden or
on the decking. Parking is available at the pub and if this gets
busy there's a large public car park close by.
This is a
great opportunity to meet fellow cachers, exchange ideas, news and
have a good catch up. Although we say "Essex" cachers, anyone can
come and join in the fun, it is always a pleasure to welcome "out
of area" cachers. We especially welcome those who are new to
Geocaching who can pick-up a few hints & tips from the old
pro's who will be avaiable on hand to help. If you would like to
host a future Essex bi-monthly event, please contact
helennbrian.
