This long lonely (but heavily travelled) strech of highway was begging for a cache. After hunting all the other caches along this 100km stretch, I felt a quick, easy, sizable cache was needed for a TB Hotel and trading point. Most of the other caches in the area are either too far off the main highway or they are too small for anything. Please consider marking it as a 'favourite' cache.
The safest way to access the cache is to pull off onto MacIsaac Drive (the old highway) and park there. The cache itself is located in the blue spruce beside the hydro pole. It is meant to be easy to find and replace and therefore hopefully encourage a high number of trades. Please feel free in winter to create a few extra footprints to send the muggles off in another direction. Those looking for a quick swim (or outhouse) may want to visit the small park on the water 1km West. If you are not trading a travel bug, please only take one. The idea is to leave something for others, not to clean out the cache.
