This is a nice cache off of 101 on E. Uncas. This is just past the Discovery Bay Fire Station 51. The size is a Reg/small good spot for TB.
Discovery Bay Fire Rescue~ is a all volunteer dept. that started way back in 1969 by the residents of Disco Bay that felt the need for a fire dept. Dist. 5 covers approximately 75 square miles in rural Jefferson County, Washington. Served from two fire stations with 1 Chief/Firefighter Paramedic, 1 Deputy Chief/ILS Tech, and 31 volunteers consisting of support staff and Firefighter/EMT's. We provide Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support EMS transport services as well as fire~rescue services to the community.
We didn't put the cache right next to the fire house for obvious reasons but it is across from one of our out buildings (with permission from our chief of course!)
I'll try to keep it stocked with fire dept related stuff in honor of the theme and location.
IF you see us outside or the bay doors open feel free to stop by and say Hi!
