If you have children, be careful because this cache is located near a main road.
The nearest public parking is at the North parking garage for the Towson Town Center (Towson Mall). We don't recommend parking inside Goucher College. The cache is a short walk up the road (there are sidewalks)
Terrain is easy, the cache however, takes a little bit of looking around.
This cache is two of nine in the Baltimore Collegetown series. The series is designed to connect the many colleges in the Baltimore area and highlight some of their landmarks and historical features. (Note: Each cache in the series can be done in any order)
Goucher - This college was founded in 1885 as a women's college, by Methodist ministers Dr. John Goucher and John B. Van Meter. It is now a is a private, co-educational, liberal arts college.
Although the cache is just outside the college property, you can see the main gate from where you're standing once you find it.
The stone gate is called the Guth Memorial Gateway, honoring William Westley Guth. He was the 4th president of Goucher College from 1913-1929.
It's not too far off the sidewalk, so be careful of muggles.
Small container, be careful of insects.
