My kids used to call this "Ham SMEAR" lake which used to crack me up. I remember when we first moved to Jackson, this lake was too polluted to even touch. Now, many anglers stop here to catch bluegill, sunfish, northern and bullheads. It is a nice spot for a picnic or to park your bike and have a nice walk or ride your bike on our new walking/biking trail that takes you all the way east through Jackson.
