WELCOME TO THE SMALL TOWN LIFE SERIES!


Your hunt for this cache will take you to Raleigh, a small town nestled in the heart of south central Mississippi. The container you're looking for is a magnetic green matchsafe located in a park on the outskirts of town. It contains a log only, so you must bring your own pen to sign it.

To access the park, use the paved road located beside the Tullos Park sign. An area for vehicles is available in the back. It is easily accessible if you enter through the back of the park, so please don't attempt to climb the hill. I rated it a level two terrain because of the hill and loose gravel near the cache area, so watch your step and take small children by the hand. Also, make sure the cache is properly concealed and secure before you leave, so other people can enjoy the hunt. Stealth may be required since this is a busy area for family gatherings, especially during the spring and summer months.

This is an easy and kid-friendly hide, but depending on the time of year you visit, please be wary of wasp and other flying insects where the cache is hidden. Do not leave small children unsupervised. There is a playground, picnic tables, and a pavilion nearby, so why not bring the family along for some fun? *smile*
