wildernessben: Seems the groundskeepers sent this one to 'geocache heaven,' where all good muggled geocaches go. Something new coming soon.

Every once in a while it is time to return to the basics of geocaching. The ABCs of Geocaching series will test you on your basic skills and maybe stretch you a little bit as well.
L is for Lamppost Cache. Shortly after the start of geocaching, someone learned that those little plastic things on the bottoms of the lampposts can lift up hiding a micro container. Instantly, 1000s of micro containers were hidden in public parking lots, walking trails, and just about anywhere that there was a lamppost. Some people enjoy finding these caches. I remember the first time that I found one, I was generally amazed. Now that I have found lots of them, I grab the cache, sign the log, and just move on.
This cache could have been a lamppost cache, but I decided against it. This cache has been placed with permission from the university physical plant. Please do not trample the flora & fauna.
