OK, since your on Goat Island, why not travel to the POINT and GOAT about the walk you just took! Hah, there plenty of room for more caches on this wonderful island.
Of course you are here at Goat Island to pick up some neat smiley's with high terrain, so this one is just another hike north.
You'll enjoy the walkabout, as you will experience, some rocks, sand, muck and don't forget the birds and fish that you will see while exploring this neat island in the St. Johns River.
Just a short jump from Reddie Point Preserve via kayak/canoe. Look at the tide tables, as we found out the at the tail end of low tide, you will either figure out how to walk 100 feet to the shore in the muck, or disembark on the floating pier and get back to your vehicle. While you are in the park, you might just as well pick up the other caches there (nine so far).
