Geocache Description:

Located in an urban park with a children's playground close by.

Would you believe...... that GZ was the entrance to a coal mine. Yes, a coal mine!
From 1862 -1880 the Cambrian Coal Mine supplied the local area with fuel until water intusion from Reservoir Creek brought the mine to an end.

Would you believe...... that a few metres from GZ in the 1860's was the Rifle Range for the Richmond Volunteers. For the 1860's, a photo shows something quite unique about the Volunteers.

Would you believe......a Tennis Court as well.

Would you believe....... there is much more interesting fact about this area.

Would you believe......there are now some very weird trees to mark the spot of GZ

Would you believe...... the cache is in a camo-painted, screw top container with a log book, pencil and a number of tradeable items. Very easy access.Please, carefully rehide.
