Geocache Description:

Welcome to Conway Cemetery, located in section 15, Conway Township, Livingston County.

Conway Cemetery is the newest of the cemeteries located in the township, the land having been purchased from the Klein family some time prior to 1880. The cemetery is a small somewhat secluded piece of land on the corner of Gregory and Pierson Roads with parking in front of the gate just south of the corner.
Although there are not many headstones in the cemetery, there are as many unmarked graves as there are marked. The first recorded burials are from the early 1880s and it appears that after many years of inactivity there are a few newer interments here. Enjoy your visit to this quiet place in the country and please be sure to close the gate securely when you leave.
