Easter Island Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Tashma: Went out and had a look. Whoa! The corner is completely changed. What a mess. Very dangerous now with all the construction vehicles too. Not even going to try to retrieve the container. Have to say the Inuksuk that stood there for many years will be missed. Archived.

Geocache Description:

Lakefield's attempt at the large stone heads of Easter Island or a very funky Inuchuk.

This is a very interesting rock scupture that always seems to attract my attention when I'm driving to Apsley.
Please be careful closer to the scupture. The grass is very long in summer which hides some oddly placed rocks. The scupture seems to be covering some sort of drainage hole so don't be messing around it too much. Cache is hidden in the scupture but it should be easy to find.
The cache has swag in it that is music themed. I initially had other plans for this one but it was time to get something other then a micro out. There is something special for the FTF. BYOP I forgot to leave a pen in it.
