[EN] Croatia, town Sali Use a walkway leading directly from the port to get to the cache. Distance from the port to cache is about 400 metres. You can see transmitter antenna from the cache location. [EN] - Dugi Otok - Long Island is the largest island in the northern Dalmatia. Limestone ridge stretches over the entire length of the islan. Southwest of the island is steep and rocky. There is vividly on the opposite side, which is surrounded by numerous islands. On this side of the island you can find a port Sali - the largest town and also the administrative center of the island. Sali was named after the salt pans, which have now been abandoned. Centuries ago Sali was a popular place for recreation as evidenced by the luxurious Renaissance patrician houses or Baroque house. You can also find a Marian church with rich interiors and furnishings. If you are visiting it, then do not forget to look at the painting of the dead Christ from Giorgio Schiavoneho. Today's Salis inhabitants (1200 population) live on agriculture and fishing, of course. It is grown here grapevines, olive trees, fruit. Currently the city is not among the most popular destinations, but nevertheless its facilities are suficient. If you want to swim, then note the beaches are mostly rocky and is a concrete pier. Sali is located 2 km from the national park Telascica. The next five kilometers you can still take the car and then put two kilometers walk to the restaurant, salt lake or a rock wall. Sali to be reached by ferry from Zadar in 80 minutes, or, you can, as we, arrive bysailboat. If you stay overnight, then you will be certainly impressed by a mixture of nationalities, occurring in a local bar. After all, it takes only a few steps to get in bar from the yacht, so you can bellyful enjoy the atmosphere of number languages and cultures. Cache is located a few hundred metres from the port (pier). From the port you set off the walk around the coast, pass the light indicating the entrance to the port, then you can also enjoy the view of the islands. I recommend search the cache in the morning, the sea is calm at this time and only a few local fishermen in small boats fishing for their catches. [CZ] - Dugi Otok - Dlouhý ostrov je nejvetším ostrovem Severní Dalmácie. Pres celou délku ostrova se táhne vápencový hrbet. Jihozápad ostrova je strmý a skalnatý. Živeji je tedy na protilehlé strane, kterou lemují pocetné ostruvky. Na této strane ostrova najdete také prístav Sali – nejvetší mestecko a zároven správní stredisko ostrova. Sali bylo pojmenováno po solných pánvích, které jsou již dnes opuštené. Sali bylo oblíbeným místem k rekreaci již pred staletími, což dokazují výstavní renesancní patricijské domy ci barokní dum Petricioliu. Nalezneme zde také mariánský kostel s cenným interiérem i mobiliárem. Pokud jej navštívíte, pak se nezapomente podívat na obraz Mrtvý Kristus od Giorgia Schiavoneho. Dnešní obyvatelé Sali (1200 obyvatel) se živí zemedelstvím a samozrejme rybolovem. Pestuje se zde vinná réva, olivovníky, ovoce. V soucasné dobe nepatrí toto mesto mezi nejvíce navštevované destinace, ale i presto je jeho vybavenost dostacující. Budete-li se chtít vykoupat, pak pocítejte s tím, že pláže jsou vetšinou skalnaté ci je tvorí betonová mola. Sali se nachází 2 km od národního park Telašcica. Dalších pet kilometru ješte mužete jet autem a pak si dát dvoukilometrovou procházku k restauraci, Slano jezero ci skalní steny. Do Sali se dostanete trajektem ze Zadaru za 80 minut ci, stejne jako my, priplujete plachetnicí. Pokud zustanete pres noc, pak vás urcite zaujme smesice národností vyskytující se místním baru. Konec koncu, z baru do plachetnice to budete mít pár kroku a tak si atmosféru spletice jazyku a kultur mužete vychutnat dosyta. Samotná keška se nachází pár stovek metru od prístavu (molo). Z prístavu se vydáte chodníckem kolem pobreží ostrova, minete svetlo oznacující vjezd do prístavu, a pak si vychutnáte pohled na ostrovy. Doporucuji kešku hledat ráno –more je v tuto dobu klidné a jen nekolik místních rybáru na malých clunech loví své úlovky.
