Coastal Tracks 8 Traditional Cache
cushtycache: Checked on cache to find it muggled and a number of wheely bins now obstructing GZ. Think it's best to archive this one.

A series of caches to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Lowestoft to Great Yarmouth railway's closing.
We've reached our destination - the site of Yarmouth Southtown.
Stealth is needed here as two busy roads are close by.
Yarmouth Southtown was a fine building and an important station on the national network.
Opened in 1859, it was the terminus for express trains from London which would roar across the countryside and pound over the Broads waterways via swing bridges at Beccles and St Olaves.
Closure of this main line, exactly 100 years later, meant a shaky future for Yarmouth Southtown. For a while, express services were diverted along the coastal tracks covered by this series but by the late 1960s it was home to just the single diesel service running back and forth to Lowestoft.
After closure in 1970, the station was used by an offshore gas company before being demolished. It is now the site of the busy Pasteur Road / Southtown Road crossroads with only Station Road and Station Hotel giving a nod to the past.
This cache is a small tub with a few swaps and log. Please bring a pencil.
