Geocache Description:

Dynamo is truly a "community pool". Everyday you can see swimmers from one to 92. As a non-profit organization their mission is to build on a tradition of excellence by teaching and training all levels of swimmers. This cache is named "Go For the Gold" because it is dedicated to all those hard working athletes that strive for the best. On the Pool Records you will see familiar Olympic swimmers like Michael Phelps and Katie Hoff among others. A Dynamo swimmer, Carlton Bruner, also from our neighborhood swim team, swam at the 1996 Olympics.

This geocache is in a high muggle area. You will be very close to the route that the athletes use to do their "dryland" training. Use extreme stealth especially in the late afternoon. You will not be able to find parking on days there are swim meets (Th-Sun). There is no trail and it might not be suited to very small children, but there are no dangerous plants, just mosquitos. The coordinates are not far from the "Dynadome" (an enclosed 50m pool used for long course meets.) Please replace the cache exactly as you found it. This cache has a swimming theme for the young and old, so bring something swimming related.
