Geocache Description:

Mary Baker Eddy Birthplace in Bow, NH.
This cache is one of a series of caches to show some of the historic places in Bow.

One of Bow’s most famous residents was Mary Baker Eddy, the founder of the Christian Science Faith. She spent the first 15 years of her life in Bow and her birthplace is marked as a historic site. Mary Baker Eddy lived from 1821 - 1910.
The site is not much more than foundation stones and a field but wild turkey live in the area and you may see some if your lucky.
There is a layout of what the house looked like but you have to use your imagination when standing in the foundation to visualize what the homestead must have looked like.
Click on the related web page link above to learn more of her life.
The site is on a gated road that is only open during the day.
Bring a pen.
