Geocache Description:

An easy cache in a great location at the Bay of Skaill. Stealth is likely to be required as this area can be very busy particularly during the summer.

Please ensure the cache is firmly jammed back under the rock to ensure it does not get blown away!!

This is a fantastic place to watch the sea particularly during winter storms when the sea thunders in to the bay. There are some excellent walks all around the cache.

Skara Brae is close by and is well worth a visit, being one of the most visited and important archaeological sites in the UK. Indeed, it is the best preserved Neolithic village in Northern Europe. Further information can be found on the attached webpage.

Skaill House is also worth a visit if you have time.

The cache is a 35mm film canister with log and pencil
