Geocache Description:

Salcey Trail is a caching route around the wonderful Salcey Forest - following good footpaths/cycle routes it is suitable for those enjoying the forest by foot or cycle! 'Cachers of all ages will enjoy this trail, and we encourage the geokids to get involved as much as possible! The caches are often just off the formal path and a range of container sizes are used throughout.

Salcey Trail – Ranger's Oak

This is another cache along Salcey Forest’s cycle trail through the former medieval hunting forest. The mighty Palmer Oak is sited close to the cache here, and so is the Rangers house - hence the cache name! For more information on the forest click on the link below:
