Tallbacken är en välskött och vackert belägen rastplats efter väg E12 mellan Umeå och Lycksele. Under de sista 10 åren har Tallbacken blivit utsedd till länets bästa rastplats nästan varje år. Den har även korats till Sveriges bästa rastplats vid ett par tillfällen! I anslutning till rastplatsen finns en idyllisk liten camping med 10 stugor och plats för ett 25-tal husvagnar. Där finns bl.a. minigolf, nostalgi-lanthandel och ett litet fordonsmuseum. Medtag egen penna! Tallbacken is a beautifully located rest stop along road E12 between Umeå and Lycksele. Over the last 10 years, Tallbacken has been designated the county's best rest stop almost every year. It has also has been chosen to the Swedish best rest stop a couple of times! Next to the rest area there is an idyllic little campingsite with 10 cabins and room for about 25 caravans. There are miniaturegolf, a old country store and a small museum at the camping. Bring your own pen!
