Wassermühle Eitze

Die Eitzer Mühle wird erstmals 1220 in der Stiftungsurkunde für die Andreaskirche in Verden von Bischof Yso erwähnt. Sie gehört zu den ältesten urkundlich erwähnten Mühlen im Landkreis Verden. Ein Meierbrief von 1555 weist auf eine Familie (Wittboldt-) Müller hin, die das Müllerhandwerk hier über 400 Jahre ausübte. Der Gewerbebetrieb Eitzer Mühle bestand bis zum 30. Juni 1968. (Link)
