Geocache Description:

The Grotto is a place where i frequented as a kid as the previous cache in the area has long since been archived i feel it is time to have one back in the area.
This beautiful campus was purchased by the University in 1947. Before that it was an estate, this is the reason for this structure. This structure is called a grotto and is here purely for ornamental reasons. It was built by the Marquis of Blandford (who became Duke of Marlborough) who also made the lake and an artifical 'wilderness', all of which still exist.
Cache is a 35 mm film canister containing logbook not far from the grotto, please bring your own pencil.
steth is required happy hunting.
Cache site can be fairly busy!!!!
