Die Magdalenenkirche im Moos, genannt Mooskirche, ein Kleinod gelegen inmitten von Feldern am Fuße des Eggerbergs von Niederdorf, findet im 13. Jhd. eine archivalische Nennung lt. Tinkhausers Diözesanbeschreibung. Die heutige Kirche ist ein einheitlicher Neubau aus dem späten 15. Jhd. Allein der Turm ist später hinzugekommen. Die Stiftung des Kirchenbaus und der Chormalerei beruhen auf einer Heilung von der Gicht, die Paola von Gonzaga, verehelicht mit Graf Leonhard von Görz-Tirol, nach einem Badbesuch in Prags 1491, erfahren hatte. Der frühbarocke Hochaltar stammt aus der Zeit um 1600; eingelassen ist eine spätgotische Relieftafel der Heiligen Drei Könige von Michael Parth (um 1520). Die Wandmalereien stammen von Simon Mareigl von Taisten. Ein besonders auserlesenes Juwel europaweit verkörpert die Orgel. Die historische und klanglich äußerst wertvolle kleine Orgel trägt am Windkasten die Inschrift:“Jesus, Maria, Joep/Dise wintladen ist gemacht worden in Brixen 1693 FRANZ KHÖCK orgelmacher“ und verrät somit näheres über das Instrument. Die direkt in die Brüstung der Empore eingelassene Orgel ist nach einem raffinierten, äußerst ökonomischen Transmissionssystem gebaut, das die mehrfache Ausnutzung ein und derselben Pfeife für verschiedene Register ermöglicht.

S. Magdalene's Church in Moso: Today's S. Magdalene's Church dates back to 1490 to a donation by Countess Paula von Gonzaga, wife of Margrave Leonhard von Görz. The early Baroque high altar dates back to around 1600. A relief plaque depicting the Adoration of the Magi, a work by Michael Parth from the late Gothic period (around 1520), decorates the high altar. The church is located somewhat outside the village in the direction of Monguelfo.

La chiesa di St. Magdalena in Moos, menzionata per la prima volta nel Duecento, è un gioiello situato in mezzo ai campi al piedi del Monte Costa a Villabassa. La costruzione della chiesa attuale in stile unitario risale alla fine del quattrocento, soltanto il campanile è di epoca più tarda. Santa Maddalena in Moso fu costruita e affrescata grazie a una generosa donatrice, Paola di Gonzaga, guarita in seguito a una cura termale a Braies nel 1491. L'altare paleo barocco, invece, fu realizzato intorno al 1600, mentre la tavola in rilievo in stile tardo gotico raffigurante i tre re magi è opera di Michael Parth e risale al 1520 circa. Il piccolo organo estremamente prezioso da un punto di vista storico e musicale è conosciuto a livello internazionale. Sul somiere si legge l’iscrizione: „Jesus, Maria, Joop/diese wintladen ist gemacht worden in Brixen 1693 Franz Khöck orgelmacher“ (Gesù, Maria, Giuseppe /questo organo è stato costruito nel 1693 dall’organaio Franz Khöck). Lo strumento posto direttamente sulla balaustra del matroneo è stato costruito con un sistema molto economico e ingegnoso di trasmissione, che permette l’utilizzo ripetuto della stessa canna per diversi registri.
