This new reserve was opened on the 17th July 2010 for the residents
of Aotea. It has a lovely play park for the kiddies at the top of
the reserve, toilets, a pagoda and a lovely windy path to a view
point with plenty of places to rest along the way.
This park could be full of muggles during the (midday) daylight
hours so suggest you try this cache slightly out of normal
hours..
If there are muggles about PLEASE DO NOT attempt this cache as
you will compromise it. Everyone should be able to do this cache,
including people in Wheelchairs (though might be a bit of a workout
on the way back up the hill). Bring along your kids and pets and
enjoy this new reserve..
PREFERRED RULES FOR THIS CACHE (but
optional as cannot enforce): Please let any cacher who
does NOT have a FTF log this cache before it is logged by a cacher
with FTF's - PLEASE !!!!. This cache was placed with our son Ayden
(his first geocaching experience).
PLEASE NOTE: This cache is surrounded by a large number of
duplex houses, so please make sure you are not "obvious" searching
for the cache. Please do so discreetly so that the cache remains
there..
