Mike's Landing Traditional Cache

For years folks on the Ohio River have tied their boats up to a tree with exposed large crooked roots and walked up to Mike's Place.  Over the years the old trail to the river fell out of favor.  The narrow to non existent trail had been taken over by head high weeds.  
That has all changed recently.  Earlier this year a new crossing was constructed across the railroad tracks and a 10 foot wide trial has been mowed down to the river.  Along the river they have cut off all the low hanging branches to improve the view of the river and the hills of Southern Indiana.  Now folks that visit Mike's Place can once again enjoy a stroll down to the river after dinner.

The cache is a camouflaged Bison Tube located near Mikes Landing on the river.  Mike's Landing trail can be accessed either from the back of Mike's Place or the Levee multi-use trail.  This trail and the area near the river can be muddy after a rain. Remember to bring a writing instrument to sign the log.
