10-10-10 Multi Event: South Carolina Event Cache

It's that time of year again. You know, when those calendar numbers all match. It's The Power of Ten and a good enough excuse for some food, fun and geocoins!

Bring yourself, your appitite, your caching stories, and join us for an informal late lunch at The Conch Cafe on the outdoor patio overlooking the ocean from 2:00 to 4:00 to celebrate the 10th day of the 10th month in the year 2010! If it should rain, we'll be lunching indoors.

We'll be playing a round of Geocaching Bingo. So be sure to bring a new swag item (think dollar store), new geocoin, or caching signature item in order to play.

Game Basics: Your geocaching item buys you TWO bingo game cards. If you would like to play more than TWO cards, bring along another new cache swag item.

First cacher to get a valid BINGO will win the geocaching swag pot. If more than one valid BINGO then I'll do a drawing for the winner. I'm donating a 50-Cal ammocan with logbook, pens and a brand new FTF geocoin to start out the geocache swag pot.

If you don't win Bingo, fear not because you'll be asked to write your caching name on the back of your losing bingo cards and turn them in to me. I'll have a random door prize drawing from all the losing game cards.

As in years past, this is part of a world wide multi-event. So there will also be an exclusive South Carolina 10-10-10 event coin available for purchase for cachers who attend. Photos of the coin are available in the gallery. Coins will be $10 each.

Be sure to tell me how many people in your party when you post your "will attend" log. I need to keep an accurate count to make sure we have enough seats reserved.

This should be a lot of fun and a nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon at the beach during the off-season. Looking forward to seeing YOU there!
