As a geocacher I always load caches into the routes I am taking
hoping to nab a cache when I stop for gas or to take a rest stop.
However going a mile out of the way to get the nearest one is not
looked on with favor by my family when we are in a hurry to get to
our destination. So I am always excited to find one within walking
distance of getting fuel or just stopping to stretch my legs. You
can imagine my disappointment when I stopped at this location only
to find that the nearest cache was .4 miles away (GC23BJ3). Such a
perfect spot for folks traveling through the area and no happy
faces to add to my geocache map. However, I refused to have this
happen to my fellow cachers stopping here after me. My wife just
happened to finish a container of mints as we were waiting for our
friends to finish up inside, it dawned on me I had extra geocache
logs with me in the event that I found a cache without a log or
needing maintenance. So I quickly assembled the cache and put it in
a typical location for caches in an area such as this and darted
back to my car. I named it Truck Stop Stealth as it is in a "safe"
location however many muggles will be checking you out as you go to
retrieve it and along with that will come the curious person who
may wish to investigate what you were doing. The goal of this cache
is to reach 100 logs before it gets muggled, so put on your best
"STEALTH" and try to log and return this cache without being
noticed.
Good luck and may you not be the last person to log a find before
it gets muggled!!!
The difficulty rating is due to the fact that it is in a location
easily seen by the many muggles around, your mission if you choose
to accept it is to retrieve the cache, log and return it without
being seen.
