The Missouri Indians used this area for unknown purposes. There is a nice hike to a really interesting area on top of a bluff.
This virtual cache marks an interesting archeological feature. The surrounding area is beautiful too. I am interested to hear what you think this feature and area might have been used for. There is a nice overview from the bluffs, and the Missouri river is nearby. Don't miss the excellent collection of artifacts in the visitor's center, and other displays of animals and native life.
