Geocache Description:

This is the second stage of the Zombie Horde Outbreak storyline.
The Zombie Horde are members of the Maryland Geocaching Society

Zombie Horde Outbreak # 2 - Trouble in the forest

With a fire raging in La Plata, most people decide to go North to the closest hospital. What most people do not realize is that there is a Zombie outbreak in the process. Most Zombie outbreaks usually begin in a small area but those infected are then taken to a hospital where the bulk of the outbreak begins.

The traffic going north on Rt 5 seems to be moving fine until reaching the outer limits of Waldorf. An ambulance has been involved in a car accident and the patient in the ambulance has attacked the driver. Good Samaritan have jumped out of their cars to help, only to fall victim to the spreading of the Zombie Virus.

Upon being bitten, the new members of the Zombie Horde grab an iPhone, Android or GPS and shamble off in search of a clear container with goodies inside. There is a clue at each location in the log book that will lead you to Zombie Horde - Outbreak # 4 - Containment.

The cache was placed with permission from the Maryland Department
