This mini-series covers a small part of the Ridgeway National Trail, which in total stretches 87 miles (139km) through ancient landscapes. There is now a busy railway line following this part of the route, and the trail runs between it and the river for a while. There is an absence of caches on this part of the trail, which I use regularly, so I thought I'd add some for those following the path, and having enjoyed a few puzzle caches myself (ok, been reeeeeally annoyed by my inability to fathom most of them and ridiculously smug at solving a couple) this is my first attempt at setting one - for the musically minded amongst you...
The cache is located at
N 51 (D to F)(G to A).(B to C)(E to C)(A to C)
W 001 zero(B to G).zero(E to F)(F to B)
You are looking for a nano container which holds only a log book. You may need tweezers or similar to remove the log.
If you're not walking, the closest parking is on "The Bridleway", just north of Goring off the B4009 (Wallingford Road) - take the road signed to Goring Sailing Club.
