Geocache Description:

A traditional cache at Chelmsford's first Park and Ride site.

Due to the tremendous success of the Sandon Park and Ride scheme, Essex County Council has expanded it twice since it started. An average of 1,000 people are using the site daily.
The site has 1,175 free car parking spaces, covered cycle parking facilities for 20 bikes and a terminus facility with toilets and refreshments

The wind turbine located on the site generates approximately 50% of the electricity used by the site.

Buses run every 10 minutes between 0700 and 1900 from Monday to Saturday (excluding Bank Holidays). The return bus fare is £2.20.

There is a good selection of caches in Chelmsford's Town on arrival.
