honeychile: As this one appears to have been removed by the owner of the nearby business, I'm archiving the listing. It can be unarchived if something can be worked out with the property owner and/or if the guidelines can be met otherwise.

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

To celebrate the Boy Scouts of America’s 100th Anniversary, Scouts from around the country released Pinewood Derby Travel Bugs loose on the longest pinewood derby track—or rather, trek—in history. Their goal has been to reach as many Scouts and non-Scouts as possible as they make their way to the 2010 National Scout Jamboree. This cache allows them a chance to “Fuel Up” as they reach the Jamboree.

We will be picking up the cars during the week of the Jamboree for display in our Technology Quest area and to choose the winners. Please leave the cars in the cache and dont take them to travel further. After Aug 3 they will be released again to hit the world.

After 2010, this cache will remain active and include mementos from the 100th Anniversary jamboree. Please note that this geocache is for all geocachers to find. It is not just for Boy Scouts with the special Travel Bugs. Also, this cache is being published with special permission from Groundspeak
