Welcome to Rachel Springs… a commercial development that began but never really started. As of July 2010, three of the twelve lots have sold; the one that actually built first, office condos, became a bankruptcy sale in June 2010. While I know little about land development, I always understood it was difficult to build on such sloped land. But what do I know, right?
My husband and daughter were aware of this waterfall, but not until we went back there for a better look around, were we surprised with what we couldn’t see from the road. Once this development gets going again and this specific area gets tended to better – this will really be a lovely place. Well, it will be once you put in some shade trees… I’m writing this when it’s nearly 100 degrees outside.
I hope you enjoy this little area – it was nice surprise to me!
