Geocache Description:

This is one of the forest properties owned and managed by the Lakehead Region Conservation Authority. It offers a 4 kilometer hiking trail past an active beaver dam. The Thunder Bay Naturalists offer guided walking tours through the area, including one that identifies the many varieties of orchids which are native to the Thunder Bay region. The trail head is located on John Street at the corner of Community Hall Road, just ten minutes west of Highway 11/17.
