"Daddy - I wanna Pony" Those words might strike dread into a
Daddy’s heart, on the other hand they could mean double
happiness. Getting a “Pony” is analogous to getting a
“Boat“…purchasing either often means two of the
happiest days of your life: the first when you acquire it; the
second when you sell it!! This experience is different…you
don’t have to maintain anything…I will.
Start your initial search near (but not in) the “Pony
Barn” and once you find the Stage 1 container, you’ll
have all you need to find the final, BUT here‘s where the
D2.5 rating comes in (it's a little tricky
) …you‘ll have to put on
your thinking cap to determine the location of the final… -
how many navigational terms are you familiar with?, and how's your
metric conversion? Oh, by the way, just how well do you know the
functions of your GPS receiver? The container size selected is
“Regular” but that applies to the final
only…Stage 1 is a micro, but it‘s a
“bio-micro“
Bring a picnic lunch, then enjoy a
nice stroll along a shaded pathway to find the cache. The final
location showcases some of the recent Glade Run reclamation work
done by the Reston Association.
Please do NOT hunt this cache at night, flashlights in
the woods are bound to draw unwanted
attention.
