Just a week before the great Laredo Flood of 2010 War1man and MiMi was in Laredo, and I took him across to Mexico to check on my caches there. When we returned, War1man and MiMi gave me a cache container that was given (constructed) by StrayGoose, all from the Orlando, FL area. I don’t like putting caches in landscaped bushes or on electrical boxes, so I looked all over town to find the right place for this hide. I decided on the public parking structure above the Greyhound and El Metro bus stations. I recommend you go to the top of the structure to get your most accurate coordinates and then work your way down until you find it. Before going down, be sure to see the Laredo sights from high up. When you look to the southeast, you can see the Steeple of St. Augustine Church, which is Benchmark AJ1431. Go to http://www.geocaching.com/mark/details.aspx?PID=AJ1431 to log your benchmark find. It will not count toward your geocache totals, but you will get a smiley.
