The Feed Zone is the point in a race when riders can collect bags of food and drinks to keep the going. The riders don't stop but grab the bags from their team assistants who stand at the side of the road and hold the bags out. This area is a good place to to sit and eat your lunch - you can view the route you have taken and also the route ahead and admire the Kentmere Valley.
This cache can be done quiet easily from the parking area at the end of the Kentmere Road. There are limited parking spaces and they are very popular - avoid Sunday mornings.
Kentmere Church is a pretty little church and is worth a visit. Kentmere Hall is nearby which was built as fortification against the invading Scotts.
