The other day, K8 came home saying she had heard
a rumour, that down in Frog Hollow the tyrannic Boss Bullfrog had
captured a cache and was trying to keep it all to
himself.
So we decided to go and try to find Mr
Bullfrog’s cache and convince him to share.
When we arrived at Frog Hollow, there was no sign
of Boss Bullfrog but we did bump into some of the local frog
residents. The word was, that ol’ Boss had moved up the road
a bit but nobody was prepared to tell us exactly where, for fear of
retribution.
Eventually we convinced some of the frogs to give
us a hint as to his whereabouts, so they each gave us a number that
we could substitute to give us alternative decimals to the above
co-ords, that would lead us to the mean old bugger's hiding
place.
Unfortunately in their enthusiasm some of the
frogs gave us numbers we had already been given but eventually we
had enough to make a new set of co-ords and off we went to find the
cache.
The day we went hunting we found 24 frogs and as
I said many of the numbers they will give you are repeated. So even
if some of the frogs hop away or get eaten (Grenouilles A La
Meuniere – Yum!) you should still be able to find enough to
give the required location.
Happy geo-croaking!
Special Note: This cache is located along the
banks of Cabbage Tree Creek and caution should be taken as it may
not be accessible after heavy rains.
