Geocache Description:

(A small container hidden in countryside on the outskirts of Treeton.)

The poSted cO-ordinates are not the tRue location of the cache. You will need to calculate the actual co-oRdinates bY analysing the description and solving the correct puzzle..

This is a cache conTainer Hidden in countryside on the outskIrtS of Treeton, within 1 mile of the posted co-ords, and not in the middle of a road. Fake co-ordinates may land you in deep water..

Treeton is a lovely village offering the best of both worlds; a small frIendly community out in the countryside, but also with eaSy access to the M1, M18, Meadowhall, Rotherham, Sheffield and Doncaster.....

Evidence exists even today of humaN activity as far back as the mesolithic (middle stone age) periOd, dating to around 7,500 to 4,000 BC. I think some of their descendanTs still hang around near the shops in the evening......

Archaeological excavations in 1954 found the remains of A 24 foot wide Roman road, with 5 foot wide walkways on either side, and a drainage culvert, which crosses the parish.

Treeton's Saint Helen's churCh was listed in the 1086 Domesday book, one of only 15 in the whoLe of SoUth Yorkshire. At this timE Treeton was known as Trectone, meaning "farmstead by the trees"..

Treeton railway station oPened on 1st October 1884, on the site of an earLier station, which opened 6th April 1841 but only appEared in the timetAble for a short period. It cloSed on 29 OctobEr 1951

Treeton Colliery was founded on 13th October 1875 and conTinued to pRoduce coal until it's closure on 7th December 1990. A housing estate and communitY centre now occupy the site.......

There have been clAims, although other villaGes contest this, that Treeton wAs the first village in England to have electrical street lIghting; this was provided by the pit owNer as far back as 1897..

By the end of the 21st century the popuLation could be As high as 070 Thousand and possibly even 185 thousand by thE 23rd century as moRe and more people move north.....

Nothing from this sentence on is related to the puzzle, these are hard facts:
1) Bring a pencil; this is a small water-proof medical container a bit like a 35mm film-canister. I'll put a pencil in it but you know how the small ones break.
2) There are 5 sets of FAKE co-ordinates hidden within this listing. Check your co-ordinates in Google Maps or Google Earth before you set-off; if they are in water, in the middle of the village or in the middle of a farmer's field you have got the wrong ones. You can also validate your answer here: Geochecker.com.
3) Email me if you're really stuck and want a clue, but please show evidence that you have tried ie. provide two or three of the fake co-ordinates.
4) Email me if you wish me to validate or reject any co-ordinates for you. I will normally respond quite promptly.
5) Please DO NOT post clues or spoilers in your log - if I deem them "too useful" I will delete your log and notify you.
